Where's my refund? : Refund Method and Timeframe

Refund timeframes vary by the payment method used.
If you have paid by "Pay-in-Store", the refund can only be processed by the store you made the payment.

 

In the sections below, we will outline the process for tracking your refund, as well as explain the calculation used to determine the amount you receive.  

STORE PURCHASE 

Refunds will be process in accordance with the return procedures at the store where the purchase was made.

ONLINE PURCHASE

Buy Online, Pick Up In Store/Pick Up Today orders are considered online orders, not store purchases. Expired in-store pick up orders will take up to 28 business days for the funds to reflect onto your original form of payment. 
 

How Do I Track My Online Return? 

 

  • Please allow up to 14 business days from the time the return is delivered to our warehouse for a refund to be processed. The refund will be credited back to your original form of payment. 
  • To track your return go to the Purchase History page. Click on the ‘EXCHANGE OR RETURN’ button next to the order you are inquiring about. Then Click on the ‘DETAILS’ button. 
  • Scroll down the page to view the status of your return. From here you can reprint the label, cancel the return, and track the status of your return. You can also follow along with FedEx tracking information to follow the location of your return package and when it will be delivered to our warehouse.

How are Refunds Calculated?  

Your refund will be issued to the original form of payment used on the original order.  

  • Once the return is processed the $7 Return Shipping Fee (plus applicable taxes in select states) will be deducted from the full refund amount for the use of the GU Prepaid Return Label
  • Original shipping fees are not refundable. 
  • In addition, if the product is found to be defective as a result of our inspection, we will not charge you for the Return Label Fee. 
  • If a coupon was used on the order being returned, you will receive back only the amount spent, minus the coupon.  
  • Example: The original item cost is 29.90. A coupon was used (-2.30). The item is returned due to sizing. Refund amount 29.90-2.30 (Coupon) = 27.60-7.00 (Return Shipping Fee)= 20.60 Refund amount 
  • If you combined your separate returns into one parcel and were charged for each label, please contact us

Important Notes
  • The refund timeline may vary depending on the policies of the issuing bank.
  • If it has been past 14 business days since your return package was marked as delivered and you have not received your refund confirmation email yet, please click HERE to contact our Customer Service Center or click the Contact GU USA button down below. Be sure to include your Order Number, Phone Number and Billing Address when contacting Customer Service.
