Exchanges and Returns Policy Overview
EXCHANGE / RETURN OVERVIEW
Applies to both in-store and online purchases:
What items cannot be returned/exchanged?
- Final Sale items
- Innerwear (underwear, bras)
- Items purchased outside of the U.S. (International purchase)
- Items without a receipt
- Items that do not meet these criteria:
IN-STORE
In-store returns and exchanges can only be made within 30 days including the Date of Purchase.
Please note: You must have your original receipt (digital or physical copy) to return or exchange in-store.
In-Store Returns:
Merchandise purchased in our GU U.S. store can only be returned at our GU SoHo location up to 30 days (*) from the purchase date for a full refund to the original form of payment
In-Store Exchanges:
Merchandise purchased at our GU U.S. SoHo location can only be exchanged at the GU SoHo store location.
ONLINE
Online Purchases/ In-store Pickup returns and exchanges can only be made within 30 days from the Shipping Date.
※Items purchased online must be shipped out by the last day of the return period. You can check the "Return By" date in your Purchase History Page.
Online Returns:
Online returns can ONLY be accepted at our warehouse via mail with our Prepaid Return Label.
Please Note: All online returns are subject to a $7 return fee (plus any applicable state tax) that is deducted from your total refund received. This fee is non-refundable.
WE CANNOT ISSUE REFUNDS/RETURNS FOR ONLINE ORDERS AT STORES.
※If you want to Exchange/Return an item purchased online, you will need to apply for a Exchange/Return from [Purchase History] and receive your Return Label before returning your item.

Online Exchanges:
Merchandise purchased through GU-global.com can be exchanged online via your Purchase History Page or at our GU SoHo store only if it is for the same item just in a different size/color.
※If an item purchased online is exchanged at a physical store location, it cannot be returned to the warehouse.
※Items that are exchanged in store forfeit the ability to be returned, as the exchanged items are now considered FINAL SALE.
※If you want to Exchange/Return an item purchased online, you will need to apply for a Exchange/Return from [Purchase History] and receive your Return Label before returning your item.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Can I return my in-store purchase along with my online return?
No. Unfortunately, our warehouse is unable to process refunds or exchanges for in-store purchases.
Should you send your in-store purchase to our warehouse, you will not receive a refund, and you may not receive the item(s) back.
Can I return items that I purchased online but exchanged in-store?
No. Unfortunately, all items that are being returned must match the original details of your order. Items that are exchanged in store forfeit the ability to be returned, as the exchanged items are now considered FINAL SALE.
What happens if I return an item that is against the policy?
Please see above for items that cannot be returned/exchanged. Should you send an ineligible product for return to our warehouse, you will not receive a refund, and you may not receive the item(s) back.
Can I return UNIQLO items with my GU items?
Although sister brands, UNIQLO items are not eligible for return or exchange at GU.
