What is a Verification Code?
Verification codes are a form of two-factor authentication that protects your account from potential fraud.
Warning: The code will expire after 30 minutes. To receive a new code you can select ‘resend verification code’. The code can be sent a maximum of 5 times before the account will be locked. The account can be unlocked by resetting the password and a waiting period of 24 hours.
Procedure
SMS
- Login to your GU account.
- You will receive a verification code via SMS (Data rates may apply).
- Once you receive the code, you may enter it at the ‘security verification’ screen.
- Login in to your GU account.

- Once you receive the code, you may enter it at the ‘security verification’ screen.
